NYXOR occupies Room 4 of an unmarked building on a street that doesn't appear on any map. Four night-watchers work the midnight shift, composing games from shadows cast by a single candle that has burned since 1999. We don't use screens; we use the spaces between things. The game is the silence between two heartbeats.
A game begins as a whisper in the dark — a secret too dangerous to say out loud. We capture it, wrap it in velour, and let it breathe in the shadows. The interaction is the listening; the win condition is a secret so deep it changes the listener. If the whisper fades, the candle flickers but never dies. The room provides the dark; the watcher provides the eye. The secret provides the truth.
The atelier keeps one rule from the First Midnight: *a secret that cannot be whispered in the dark is not worth keeping*. The mark is a silver-emboss on midnight-blue, applied once per secret that survives the dawn. The velour provides the hush; the shadow provides the shape. The watcher provides the silence.
